Types Of Massage

Erotic Massage.

Erotic massage is the use of massage techniques for erotic ends that is widely practiced by couples as part of lovemaking. For example, instead of draping the subject's body with towels, an erotic massage is usually conducted with the subject naked and undraped. Areas of the body such as the areas around the groin and intimate parts of the body, which are normally not touched in therapeutic massage, will be touched in ways that increase sexual arousal.

Erotic massage may be utilized as a means of stimulating the libido, or increasing the ability of a person to respond positively to sensual stimulus. In some cases, erotic massage can be a form of foreplay without sexual gratification, intended to heighten the sensitivity of an individual prior to another engagement where sexual arousal and fulfillment is intended. In other cases, erotic massage may be used professionally to help men address issues of premature ejaculation. Methods employed may teach the recipient to relax the musculature of his pelvis and thus prolong arousal and increase pleasure.

It is also offered as a service by some massage parlors (known as the 'happy ending'). In this case, erotic massage may be considered to be a form of sex work, or a form of sex therapy.

Prostate Massage.

Done internally either by lubricated finger(s), a prostate massager or other medical instrument, prostate massage may result in ejaculation without any genital stimulation. The prostate can also be indirectly massaged externally through the perineum, although this may not be effective in the removal of fluid.

No more pressure should be used than for rubbing an eyeball. The procedure is initially undertaken gently using the index finger and a latex glove by massaging the lobes on either side of the prostate, taking care not to rub vigorously on the nerves in the middle.

If the prostate is full and stimulated sexually in some cases it may consciously and voluntarily be contracted, thereby emptying itself in the same way as during ejaculation but with none of the surrounding organs stimulated, without actually squeezing it digitally.

Electro ejaculation is a procedure in which nerves are stimulated via an electric probe, which is inserted into the rectum adjacent to the prostate. It is most commonly encountered in animal husbandry for the purpose of collecting samples for testing or breeding. Prostate milking is also encountered as part of sexual activities, particularly involving the use of sexual denial.

Prostate massage, in the sexual context, can refer firstly to the stimulation of the prostate as part of conventional sexual activity - for example, as part of autoeroticism/masturbation, or as performed by a sexual partner on a male as part of normal, non-fetishistic sexual intercourse, in which case the purpose is predominantly the enhancement of sexual pleasure in the male - stimulation of the prostate and anus in itself, tends to increase the intensity of male ejaculation and orgasm; additionally, massaging the prostate tends to increase the volume of fluid that is accumulated in the prostate prior to ejaculation, thus increasing the volume of ejaculation and the pleasure that is associated with ejaculation.

A second, alternative type of prostate massage, also referred to as "prostate milking", predominantly refers to the sexual practice, common within the BDSM community, of relieving the buildup of seminal fluids within the prostate, by discharging the fluid through massage, without the male experiencing orgasm.

Prostate milking is commonly practiced by/upon participants of a sexual fetish known as erotic sexual denial that involves abstention from orgasm and ejaculation for considerable periods of time (often many weeks or months). In such cases, the purpose of the massage is to temporarily reduce the level of sexual arousal in the male recipient by prompting the release of the prostatic fluid that was accumulated during the period of time in which the male had not ejaculated.

The term "prostate milking" appears to carry a more specialized erotic meaning as compared to the general term of "prostate massage", since it specifically invokes a fetishism of the male seminal fluids (i.e. to "milk"); and as such, the term "prostate milking" is seldom used, if at all, outside of the communities which are involved in the sexual fetishes in question. When referring to stimulation of the prostate under more conventional circumstances (i.e. enhancement of the immediate orgasm as part of normal sex), the more general term "prostate massage" would probably be more appropriate.

In the BDSM realm, the term "sissy milking" also refers specifically to prostate milking, as part of feminization, where 'feminized' males are popularly called "sissies" by others who share the fetish.

Tantra.

Most People are unclear about what Tantra really is and what it can do for you. Probably the most common view is that Tantra has some connection with Oriental religion, with uninhibited sex, and with the lovemaking positions and techniques outlined in the Kama Sutra, Hinduism's oldest sex manual.

To some, Tantra is a free-love cult, a survival of the psychedelic sixties; to others, its New Age spiritual sex therapy, part of the
California lifestyle, and a slice of 1990s pop culture. None of these views of Tantra are wrong outright, but none really explain what Tantra actually is. So what is Tantra? What does it mean? And, most important of all, what is its relevance to us today?

The word Tantra is Sanskrit, the sacred language of Hinduism. It derives from the root word tan, which translates as "to extend, expand, spread, continue, spin out, weave; to put forth, show, or manifest." Like the universe we inhabit, Tantra is continually expanding, spreading, and manifesting itself like a "cosmic weave," made up of different energies. We are part of this weave, as are our forefathers and foremothers, all life, and every type of energy and matter. This includes thoughts, actions, and all physical matter.

Because Tantra is a mystical subject, it is nearly impossible to define. Even eminent scholars have had a hard time explaining what Tantra actually is. The different explanations of Tantra indicate its multifaceted nature. Tantra is a spiritual science, which means it is also mystical, in its interconnectedness, the holistic wisdom link between ourselves and the universe we inhabit.

By embracing Tantra, we become more "real," more "complete." How? By recognizing and stimulating our inherent sensual spirituality, we discover parts of ourselves that have remained asleep or have been repressed. With Tantra, energy is released that is evolutionary and "upwardly motivated." We can learn to use this energy for pleasure, for achieving our worldly goals, and for aiding our spiritual evolution.

Familiarity with Tantra can help a person to enjoy life to the fullest. It can help do away with guilt or fear, break down self imposed or limiting cultural boundaries, and guide us in our search for solutions. Tantra teaches us to become familiar with our mystical nature, and when we do so, our boundaries expand. We enter into new domains of awareness. We become empowered, more fulfilled, and more perfect.

Traditional dictionary definitions of Tantra are revealing. A Sanskrit word, Tantra is sometimes translated as "leading principle, essential part, model, system, framework, doctrine, rule, theory, scientific work," also as "order, chief part, rule, authority, science, mystic works, magical formulas, means, expedient, stratagem, medicine."

Finally, a Tantra is sometimes defined as "a type of mystical teaching set out mostly in the form of dialogs between a cosmic couple. Intimate insightful dialogs, between God and Goddess, Shiva and Shakti, the male and female Tantric adepts, were at times written down and became known as Tantras. Naturally, these dialogs, being intimate, included sexual secrets as well as many other fascinating
topics.

Tantra has been well tested over thousands of years, not in worldly laboratories but in the laboratories of the human body, by Yogi Scientists and Tibetan Lamas who were not driven by commerce but by the earnest desire for spiritual knowledge and liberation. Their observations and insights have been passed down to us.

The sacred Hindu and Buddhist scriptures known as Tantras provide detailed instructions on a wide range of topics, including spiritual knowledge, technology, and science. Their content is often paradoxical. In Tantra, science and mysticism go hand in hand, as do sensuality and asceticism. Just as advanced scientific treatises are difficult for the layperson to comprehend, so traditional Tantras require adequate preparation before they can be properly understood.

Lingam Massage.

The Sanskrit word for the male sexual organ is Lingam and is loosely translated as "Wand of Light." In Tantra or Sacred Sexuality, the Lingam is respectfully viewed and honored, as a "Wand of Light" that channels creative energy and pleasure. Orgasm is not the goal of the Lingam massage although it can be a pleasant and welcome side effect.

The goal is to massage the Lingam, also including testicles, perineum and Sacred Spot (prostate) externally, allowing the man to surrender to a form of pleasure he may not be accustomed to. From this perspective both receiver and giver relax into the massage.

Men need to learn to relax and receive. Traditional sexual conditioning has the man in a doing and goal oriented mode. The Lingam Massage allows the man to experience his softer, more receptive side and experience pleasure from a non-traditional perspective.
